How to Take Your Test

Blood

A blood sample can test for HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B, or hepatitis C. This involves pricking your finger with a special needle called a lancet.

Urine

A urine (pee) sample can test for STIs including; chlamydia, gonorrhea, mycoplasma genitalium, and trichomonas.

Rectal

A rectal swab can test for STIs including; chlamydia and gonorrhea, if you’ve had anal (in your butt) sex.

Throat

A throat swab can test for STIs including; chlamydia and gonorrhea, if you’ve had oral (in your mouth) sex, or have been deep kissing as this has been shown to be a way that people can pass on gonorrhea.

Vaginal

A vaginal swab sample can test for STIs including chlamydia, gonorrhea, trichomomas, and mycoplasma genitalium. It involces inseting a cotton swab into your vagina, it should be quick and painless.

Returning Your Kit

Complete the form and place it with your samples back into the kit box and return the box following the instructions. Please note, your samples cannot be tested without the completed form.
